RELEGATION & DEVON COUNTY CUP WIN

A poor season in the FA Women’s Premier league resulted in relegation to Division One.

Things started positively for Kevin Taylor, only one win and a draw resulted in a change of management in February, with Dave Leonard taking the mangerial reigns.

Lens steadied the ship but it proved too late with relegation confirmed on the last day of the season following a 2-2 draw against QPR.

There was good news in the SWH Ltd Devon Women’s Senior Cup. Following a convincing win against Activate and a semi final win against arch rivals Exeter City, Argyle Ladies faced Marine Academy Plymouth in the Final.

After going down to an early goal Argyle equalised with a 30 yard worldy from Becky Atkins. Mollie Taylor put Argyle ahead before half time and Dani Salt sealed a convincing win 3-1.
