Following a successful period as interim manager, we are delighted to announce Travis Rowland has agreed to take on the manager’s role on a permanent basis for next season.
Trav, as he is known to the players and staff, took over in March following Dave Leonard’s sudden departure and has overssen an impressive run of eight victories and one loss, away to champions Chichester City Ladies, with one game remaining of the season.
Argyle ladies are finishing the season in fine form under Trav and currently sit top of the FAWPL SW Div 1 current form table with 6 wins fromn 6, scoring 39 goals and only conceding 2.
On his appointment Trav said, “I am really honoured to have been asked to take on the job on a full time basis. With the squad and the management team we ahve in place for next season I know that we will be successful”.
With one eye on next season already he continued, “We will be setting the girls up in the right way during pre-season and in every game to enable us to get promotion back to the Premier League Southern Division”.
Joining Travis will be Assistant Manager Marc Bonney and Goalkeeper Coach Jason Haswell.
All three will report into Director of Football Trevor Rodd.
